I was once at a "fancy" party in Washington D.C., and overheard a loudmouth bragging about his money and "success," built through sales, the foundation of our existence, according to him. He asked about my line of work and I said, "sales." He said, "Me too! What do YOU sell?" I said, "jail." He was confused and I was delighted. For 3 decades, I interrogated countless subjects that ended with a confession; a confession that they gave knowing they might go to prison. I trumped his luxury car story.
Special Agent Training: What 30 years in the U.S. Government can teach you about aligning, redefining your heart, head, passion, purpose, and plan.
Bob uses humorous recounting of government experiences as analogies for life lessons. From goal-setting to operation plans that go awry; to “observers” who screw up your plans; a review of part of Stephen Covey’s Habits and why they need revising; and ending with a human lie detection demonstration.
Who am I? Aligning, redefining and red-lining your passion, purpose, and processes.
Participants will be challenged to identify and modify the actions they are taking in pursuit of their OWN version of success, and possibly to redefine their position on the word success. Bob uses a variety of unusual life experiences, from the mail room of the FBI (at the age of 19), leading to speech-writing for President Clinton; From a kidney donation & near-death experience leading to the peak of Africa’s Mt Kilimanjaro; and from undercover government assignments to being Nick Saban’s body double… and the realization that we’re all a bit undercover at times.
How safe is your workspace?: Security and (optional) abbreviated self-defense class.
The process of this training is discussed only with corporate contact and/or owner(s). The presentation includes findings from Bob’s unannounced and (hopefully) undetected probe of your company’s safety measures. Bob also works “hands on” with staff to prepare a safety plan and process for the unexpected active shooter scenario. Upon request, employees can participate in a hands-on mini self-defense course aimed at three basic and most used self-defense techniques. (OUCH! See photo above of previous training in a real estate office - that's Bob about to land on his head! ...She passed!)
